I command you (after you finish reading this of course) to walk, run, ride a bike, drive, take the train, or hitch-hike over to your local 7-11 immediately. Get the biggest Slurpee cup you can find and make sure you buy one of their METAL SLURPEE straws. Fill up your cup with the slurpee goodness, pay the nice cashier, and then drink your Slurpee goodness through the metal straw.

HOLY CRAP! I had no idea that a Slurpee could be better than it already is. I tried a metal straw the other day after the kids had told me their cousin had one. I didn’t understand what the big deal was but holy cow. I’ll never have another Slurpee without a metal straw. The cold goodness, the coolness of the straw on your lips just make it so much better.

Take that plastic straws!
